How Telescopic Seating Works

Retracted position: The entire seating structure — rows, risers and handrails — folds back into a wall bay typically 600mm to 800mm deep. The floor is completely clear.
Deployment: The front row pulls out first, followed by each subsequent row telescoping out behind it — like the drawers of a chest. Each row sits on the riser of the row in front, creating a tiered seating configuration automatically.
Locking: Each row locks into its deployed position with mechanical locks — ensuring structural stability during use.
Retraction: The process reverses — rows fold back in sequence and lock into the wall bay.
